We are accepting registration for Home School students to join our physical education and sporting programs for the 2015-2016 Academic Year. Late registrations welcome.  Nominal fees.  Students may participate for fun or participate for credit hours.  All of these are taught or coached by a supportive and encouraging coach in a non-religious environment.  Many of our Hopewell students are international so we are especially looking for families who appreciate and want to learn with students from many cultures.  All sports and PE are fully participatory with all students encouraged to learn and play (first time players welcome).  Basketball also welcomes first time players eager to work hard and learn but Varsity Sports are inherently competitive and students should expect to work hard and play hard throughout the season. You are more than welcome to visit and test out our program before making a commitment.  Give us a call anytime! 919.481.2123

2015 Science Olympiad Results!
WE WON! WE SURPRISED OTHER SCHOOLS!  At the February 2015 Science Olympiad, our teams were remarkable, scoring medals in multiple competitions.  Go Tigers!

Iowa Test of Basic Skills: Spring Results are in!

Over the past several years, Hopewell Academy has used the Iowa Test of Basic Skills to measure each students performance in Reading, Language, Math, Social Studies, and Science in April of each year. This year our students were particularly strong. 100% of our students scored at or above their grade levels:
  • 33% scored three or more grade levels above their peers at other schools
  • 47% scoring at least one grade above their level

This means we had 9th grade students scoring at least as well as the average 12th grade student. It just goes to show that the individualized attention at Hopewell Academy makes it possible for all students to exceed expectations. Well done, Tigers!
